Description

On behalf of LanguageWire, Ciklum is looking for a Business Analyst to join Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Be a mentor and main source of business knowledge for the team of developers
  • Understand business requirements and create detailed specifications defining the functional and non-functional requirements
  • Track ongoing functional and non-functional product requirements and be ready to explain their business context to the team
  • Lead backlog grooming by explaining and, decomposing business ideas
  • Be a connector between worlds of Business and product development, focusing on the customer point of view
  • Support our UX / UI lead to create beautiful, effective user interfaces

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Skills in workflows and business processes
  • Analytical mind
  • Ability to structure and systemize informal knowledge
  • Ability to understand clients’ requirements, problems, expectations on business level
  • Practical knowledge of UML, e.g. Use Case diagrams, sequence diagrams etc.
  • Deep experience the creation of structured software specification documents
  • Capability to explain business requirement to the team of developers
  • Diligence and carefulness with details
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Good knowledge of modern, agile software development methodologies

Desirable

  • Working experience with UML tools like Visual Paradigm
  • Experience as a software tester
  • BSc degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering and/or Computer Science
