Description

On behalf of CTO Office, Ciklum is looking for a Support Engineer to join Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

An exciting and unique opportunity to become a part of Ciklum DevOps team as a Support Engineer on start, with a 9 month development plan, two certifications during the education program, and promotion to the position of junior DevOps engineer after succeed completion of all educational stages.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a 1st level technical support service to the customers, based on a communication via Skype, Slack, Email and tickets processing in Jira.
  • Proactive monitoring of general services state. Writing of technical documentation. Mentored and self education.

Requirements

  • Work experience in level1-level2 technical support or system administration
  • Basic-intermediate experience with server operating systems (Centos, Ubuntu, windows server)
  • Understanding of networking and security concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, routing, firewalls)
  • Basic understanding of web server technologies (Nginx or Apache or IIS)
  • Basic understanding of DNS
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • English – intermediate and higher

Desirable

  • Work experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, Hyper-V, VMware)
  • Basic Knowledge of UNIX Shell or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with a cloud technologies (AWS or Google Cloud or Azure)
  • Familiarity with such tools as Git, Docker, Jenkins
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines workflow
  • Understanding of software development life cycle
