Description

On behalf of CODE Worldwide, Ciklum is looking for Frontend Developer (.Net, UI) to join the team in Dnipro on full-time basis.

We want to make sure that CODE is the first choice for customers for marketing solutions and customer communications.  It’s our goal to be seen as the best in class for technical innovation – and the company that delivers a great customer experience for our clients’ customers.

This role sits within the data & technology arm of our business, specifically within the Digital team.  CODE has developed it’ own Marketing Solution called Adzu which is licenced, developed and supported across a number of major Blue Chip Organisations to manage their media assets and email campaigns.

CODE also delivers large scale back end database solutions & implements multi channel campaign management applications such as Adobe Campaign, IBM Campaign and Exact Target which are generally hosted and managed by a team of Service Delivery, Campaign Management and email experts.  We provide web services around these solutions, integration to web sites, back office systems and deliver anything from simple email templates to more complex website & digital applications as well as stand alone tactical digital communication programs in support of our Creative & Media Agency.

Within the Digital team we need someone who will be responsible for working with our clients to help design, develop & deliver Digital solutions, with specific focus on the Adzu product development in response to the direction and requirements provided by the Adzu Product team.

The right person will be a keen doer, an innovative thinker, willing to turn their hand to try new things.  Experience of working in the marketing environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Development and unit testing of web applications, software applications and web sites including maintenance & support of the same;
  • Provide assistance to Project Managers and Technical Leads in the planning of projects (eg provision of estimates, risk analysis, requirements analysis, technical options);
  • Involvement in full life cycle of projects (including pre-sales, analysis and system design, development and support if required);
  • Support and work collaboratively with team managers across areas of design, development, quality assurance and operations;
  • Commit your knowledge and experience into team success;
  • Be prepared to travel (when needed) to work with client services and digital production team at other CODE offices or client site;
  • Be prepared to work additional hours as necessary to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery of software/code;
  • Attend client meetings if required to discuss and demonstrate solutions at both technical and business level.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in application development;
  • Experience in HTML5/CSS3/Javascript and AJAX;
  • Enjoy writing mobile first CSS using Pre-Processors such as SASS;
  • Experience with Bootstrap and other grid system frameworks;
  • Able to convert a PSD, Sketch or wireframe into responsive HTML;
  • Solid JavaScript skills; experience with JavaScript Front-libraries, frameworks and tools (Ember, Angular, Knockout.js, Gulp etc);
  • Understanding of REST-based API design and development;
  • Knowledge of TDD;
  • Used to working directly with UX, Creative and Back End colleagues in an iterative fashion.

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ;
  • Used to working in a fast paced environment.  Experience of Agile and JIRA a bonus;
  • Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of digital design, information analysis, business analysis, development and QA processes;
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across large-scale projects;
  • Computer Science qualification beneficial, but not required;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, client facing communication skills, proactively taking responsibility for delivery and expectations management of clients, stakeholders and senior team members;
  • Flexible, adaptable, positive “can do” approach, self-disciplined.
