About the role:

As a Head of Delivery, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for Ciklum.

We’re looking for a Head of Delivery to be responsible for the leadership and delivery of large, complex transformation products that consist of business, technology and operational change. We’re seeking experienced, high-caliber industry leaders with a proven track record of successful delivery. Candidates must have a deep understanding of program management principles, a strategic mindset, and the natural ability to lead large teams. The role of the Head of Delivery is to ensure business growth and smooth delivery across the whole organization.

You’ll be a part of an innovative digital banking product. The bank is pioneering new horizons for customers with a core mission to create a more financially literate society that can succeed in a thriving economy. This will be achieved by introducing smart financial solutions.

We will accelerate digitization and help to reach a cashless society. Providing financial solutions across industry value chains, we aim to support the growth of all sectors of the economy. By facilitating banking access to segments traditionally considered high-risk, we aim to promote financial inclusion. Using continuous Data Analysis in our AI Engine and our PFM solution, we will help our customers better spend and save money.

Responsibilities

  • Defining the objectives, delivery strategy and associated timelines for the program, setting aspirational goals and milestones
  • Choosing a delivery methodology and ensuring it is implemented effectively with the appropriate controls and governance
  • Providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders and the escalation of blocking issues and ongoing risk management
  • Building a high-calibre, motivated and professional program leadership team across all disciplines including business design, technology and architecture, testing, release and live support, business change
  • Day-to-day management of a multidisciplinary team
  • Definition of and adherence to the program budget
  • Ongoing identification and implementation of efficiencies needed to improve quality and pace while reducing running costs
  • Ensure all solutions and operations adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
  • On-demand provide consulting/coaching/training for project team members (e.g. team leads, scrum masters, DMs, etc.)
  • Provide proactive constructive input to the internal organization on services and solutions that should be considered for improvement and/or creation
  • Be accountable for the Change and Risk management

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT sphere
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in banking sphere or highly regulated business environment
  • Experience in building products from scratch
  • Strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, highly organized and excellent leadership skills
  • Agile Delivery / Project Management experience and strong commercial understanding
  • Proven experience as a Programme Director who has already successfully delivered programs with over 100+ team members
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and approaches, and in-depth experience managing a large-scale agile delivery is a distinct advantage
  • Strong service/client-oriented attitude, focus on an outcome
  • Ability to make rapid informed considered decisions
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills, good time management and the ability to prioritize
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to lead, network effectively, negotiate and influence people
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
  • Experience in conducting trainings, coaching and mentoring group of Delivery Managers
  • Fluent level of spoken and written English

Desirable

  • Technical hands-on experience (software development, QA, DevOps, etc)
  • Product Management background
  • Industry presence in a project management or Agile approaches: conferences, articles, trainings, webinars etc
