On behalf of Cardano, Ciklum is looking for a Infrastructure Support Engineer to join Ciklum team on a full-time basis.

Would you like to join our dynamic IT team in the delivery of day to day IT Operations. This is an office based role, covering 8-5.

About Client:

Cardano was founded in 2000 to help pension plans achieve their financial objectives in a steady, predictable way by applying robust investment and risk management techniques. We currently employ 180 people based in London and Rotterdam with clients whose assets total in excess of £140bn.
Cardano UK offers both Fiduciary Management and Investment Advisory services. We have a unique approach as we are a purpose-built pension investment manager with an advisory mind-set who offers a dynamic and opportunistic approach to risk management, asset allocation, manager selection and implementation. Cardano aims to help clients achieve a steady, predictable improvement in their funding ratio in all market conditions without significant loss. We believe this approach leads to the best outcome for both members and the sponsoring company.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a single point of contact for all IT infrastructure incidents, following the Cardano SEV process
  • Triage all incoming Infrastructure tickets and Provision of 2nd and 3rd line support
  • Ensure that users and stakeholders are kept informed of progress
  • Liaise with vendors & suppliers to resolve incidents

Requirements

  • Any Microsoft certifications
  • ITIL certification
  • University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 3+ years of 3rd Line Infrastructure Support experience, preferably within financial services
  • Experience in high-pressure environments
  • Excellent Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 onwards
  • Good knowledge of Office 2016 & Office 365 Administration/Configuration
  • Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wireless etc)
  • Market Data applications (Bloomberg, Reuters) including troubleshooting Excel add-ins
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • JIRA and JIRA Service Desk
