On behalf of Ciklum Digital, we are looking for a Java Architect to join our team at Islamabad on a full-time basis

Our customer is one of Denmark’s most well-known and reputable brands. Our customer sells goods in the categories of beauty, health and wellness for just over DKK 3.5 billion. per year.


  • Hands on in implementing proposed solutions and be able to technically guide teams during development and deployment of solution
  • Has a complete technical ownership of the delivery
  • Need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating with customer technically and procedurally
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework and worked in a self-organizing agile development team


  • 5+ years of overall IT development experience
  • Experience as Enterprise Java Developer, developing and designing enterprise-wide distributed solutions & in providing hands-on lead role in executing project implementation
  • Experience building and consuming Micro Services including unit testing
  • Experience in Database like MySQL, MS SQL Server etc.
  • Experience in Java, Object-Oriented design, Algorithms and Optimizations
  • Experience in Spring framework, Hibernate, PL/SQL development
  • Experience in service oriented design & implementing RESTful APIs, JSON, Web services
  • Experience working with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Tomcat
  • Have in-depth knowledge of specialized architecture patterns based on Event-driven, Micro-services, Data-driven, CQRS concepts etc


  • Experience in REST API specification and development e.g. using Open API specification and Swagger
  • Experience in Azure, (Amazon AWS) and .Net development
  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent English Communication
