Description

On behalf of Testing Center of Excellence, Ciklum is looking for Manual QA Lead to join Kyiv team on a full-time basis. QA Lead primary responsibility is to make sure that Quality Assurance Strategy, Plans, Practices, and Processes allow the two tightly integrated projects in Fintech area with Microsoft technology stack to be delivered successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Performing QA Lead team role on 2 closely integrated projects with team of 5-7 people
  • Best QA practice implementation and supervision on all the projects within the program
  • Test Strategy preparation and update on program level (2 projects)
  • Test planning and test estimations (including automation testing)
  • Improving or setting-up QA processes for several different integrated solutions
  • Setup/update QA processes, approaches, frameworks, tools, and team composition from scratch
  • Test design techniques applying
  • QA tasks distribution within the team
  • QA Estimation, Testing Methodology Implementation, Agile QA Process Management
  • Coaching QA team members, QA training

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience in QA area
  • 3+ years of leading, coaching experience
  • Ability to establish QA processes from scratch with further monitoring and control, including creation and maintenance of supportive artifacts, procedures, and metrics
  • Team leading / management at least 5 people
  • Excellent knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types
  • Knowledge of testing specifics for different application types and business domains
  • Deep understanding of development processes, approaches, infrastructure and tools
  • Strong process-oriented and remote collaboration skills
  • Good knowledge in complex SQL queries (Oracle or MSSQL)
  • Good experience in working with REST APIs (JSON, XML, ODATA) using Postman/SoapUI
  • Number of successfully delivered projects at least 5
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum ceremonies and artifacts
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid upper-intermediate English level
  • Experience in Pre Sales process with clients

Desirable

  • Experience with TFS, VSTS systems
  • Experience with GUI Automation (Selenium, Page Object principle, locators strategy)
  • ISTQB, ICAgile, Scrum Alliance and/or other certificates
