On behalf of BIScience (, Ciklum is looking for a DevOps engineer to join the Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

We are excited to extend our growing Scrum team with the right fit personality and engineer. Our product, AdClarity, aims to maximize our clients’ profits by providing insights and analytics of their online presence compared to specific competitors and entire market segments. The product monitors 30,000,000 web pages around the world daily, running on hundreds of servers. AdClarity monitors Display, Video, InApp, and Social channels, combining robotic and panel data.  Our product is used by corporations including Disney, Netflix,, L’Oréal, Sony, Amazon.

The data is presented via the SaaS platform, which was mostly used by enterprises previously. This year we aim to accommodate the needs of small and medium businesses. Reaching S&M businesses is a worthy milestone that means active development, performance tunes, and close collaboration with clients. We are searching for a proactive engineer to kick off the next stage of development.

  • Monitoring tools: Graphite, Grafana, SensuGo

  • Service Discovery & Configuration Management: Consul
  • DBs management: Vertica, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB
  • Cache management: Redis
  • Message brokers management: RabbitMQ, Kafka

  • Design and build the newest deployment functionality aligned with our roadmaps to ensure the safe delivery of code to production
  • Ensure continuous improvements by proposing and implementing new processes, designs and engineering practices that make the team more effective
  • Monitor and maintain of production environment in terms of performance and stability
  • Take responsibility for deploying and supporting changes, proving that they work well – and continue to work well – in production
  • Collaborate with Dev and QA teams
  • English level: Upper- intermediate. Good writing and speaking communication skills
  • Take part in an on-call rotation (1-2 days per week) to support the team’s components in the production


  • Linux administration experience (build server, Software upgrades & patches, clustering, user policies, scripting, system configurations etc.)
  • Familiarity with Web server technologies (Nginx, Apache, SSL, etc.) maintaining and configuring Mongo/PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Docker, Swarm
  • Knowledge one of automatic deployment in large scale operations (Chef / Puppet/ Ansible)
  • Experience with monitoring systems (e.g. Sensu, Nagios, Grafana)
  • Experience with cloud systems like AWS/GCP/ Azure
  • Working in a team, identifying innovative solutions, receiving minimal guidance
  • Knowledge of programming language Bash/Python/Ruby
