About the role:
As a Middle Kotlin Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for Our Client.
Join our Fashion Digital German Client that develops a new retail platform. Create a new product with 5 more developers in your team (14 teams in total).
Technology Stack:
- FE: React, Typescript, next.js, HTML, CSS
- BE: Kotlin, Ktor, Spring v5
- Database: BigTable, BigQuery, CloudSQL, PostgreSQL 13
- API: gRPC, Kafka, Avro
- Other technologies & tools: GCP, GKE, Docker, Datadog, Terraform, Magnolia, Algolia
Responsibilities
- Independent work on the project
- Analysis of requirements
- Design and implementation of the new functionality including the tests
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Kotlin/Java
- Experience with Ktor
- Experience with RDBMS and ORM
- Experience with general devops – Docker, Kubernetes
Desirable
- Practical commercial experience with Kafka
- Practical commercial experience with Spring/SpringBoot framework
- Experience with Magnolias CMS, Algolia search engine
Personal skills
- Analytical thinking
- Ability and willingness to learn new things and improve your skills
- Capability and willingness to work with Scrum
- Readiness to travel
- Good communication skills
- Upper-Intermediate English
