On behalf of Ciklum Solutions Team, we are looking for a Middle Python Developer to join our team on a full-time basis.


Our Customer is a venture capital and private equity firm investing in growth-stage companies.


The project goal is to automate the data collection, storage, data processing and aggregation.

Develop the architecture which can help any business users to access required up to date data instantly through user interface, API. Implement a bunch of analytical tools which help to reduce the analysts’ efforts and increase the profit of the business.


  • Backend Python development;
  • Implementing DWH architecture;
  • Implementing ETL process;
  • Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes;
  • Develop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solution;
  • Implement and test modification requests;
  • Handle complex problems that may arise during solution implementation and field support providing creative and rapid solutions.


  • 2+ years of experience with Python;
  • Experience of the DWH creation and Data Lake;
  • Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles;
  • Ability to solve any ongoing issues;
  • Experience with building stream-processing systems;
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources;
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase;
  • Experience with RDBMS’s like PostgreSQL;
  • Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks.


  • Graduate in quantitative scientific, engineering and/or mathematical discipline ((Mathematics generally, Statistics/Probability, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Experimental Psychology, Chemistry, etc.) – demonstrable deep knowledge in quantitative principles;
  • Significant experience working closely with business subject matter experts (SME) to achieve business outcomes.
