Ciklum is looking for a Sales Director to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are seeking a Sales Director, (must be fluent in Danish with business professional English), to play a crucial role in achieving/exceeding the strategic goals of the organisation. The role is responsible for developing and executing upon the sales strategy, (tactics, plans and delivery) for New Logo acquisition, (all verticals):

  • Consumer
  • Entertainment
  • FinTech / BFSI

but with a focus upon BFSI or eCommerce of clients for our digital product and service offerings.

Utilising your expertise in business development, relationship development and management, (as well as sales operations), you will assume responsibility for seeking out and identifying new business opportunities, building pipeline and delivering against a sales target with quality, profitable and sustainable wins. Establishing and nurturing of strong relationships is key as you work to understand the clients’ business, the market they operate within and the challenges they face to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.

The post holder will lead the shaping and developing of the Ciklum offering, steering the pursuit team to ensure that we secure the deal and that it contributes to our profitable growth. With a passion for innovation and creativity you will also contribute to the Ciklum go to market strategy, (GTM), providing insights, continuous improvement and challenge as well as mentoring colleagues and contributing to strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Model sales, (hunter) best practice in everything that you do, bringing energy, impact, insights, and strategic advice/impact
  • Research develop and maintain target account list utilising Salesforce
  • Develop and follow account-based marketing strategies
  • Develop relationships with key buyers and decision makers, (“C suite”) at target clients, identifying opportunities that match with our solutions stimulating client interest
  • Lead pursuit strategy, timelines and build winning teams for strategic deals
  • Assume leadership role in proposal kick-off, storyboard and win theme sessions, overseeing proposals and other bid materials
  • Lead and deliver early-stage discussions/pitches, developing them into meaningful opportunities
  • Support internal messaging for strategic deals with the GTM sales leadership team
  • Lead opportunities through all stages of the sales process from prospect to signature, (maintaining lead position through transition to “account management).
  • Support vertical sales leads in strategic sales pursuits
  • Ensure pipeline quality and quantity in CRM and follow Ciklum sales process
  • Achieving quarterly KPIs and metrics
  • Building compelling value propositions, (content and materials) which support the business development process
  • Train, inspire and upskill the practice so as to better equip it to win future deals
  • Evangelizing Ciklum through whitepapers, events and seminars


  • Fluency in Danish (spoken & written) with business professional standard in English (spoken & written)
  • Minimum of 8 years in selling technology solutions / IT services with an expert understanding of sales best practice and a client focussed outlook
  • Proven track record of success in selling high value complex deals to the Consumer, Entertainment and FinTech/BFSI, (specific experience in BFSI and/or eCommerce) market verticals with an established network of clients and contacts
  • Possess significant experience in bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery and able to demonstrate the ability to take a lead role in opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercials and solutioning
  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbally and written with a proven track record in own personal sales results
  • Expertise in interacting with C-Level Executives, convey the value proposition of the Ciklum suite of services, and explain in clear terms how Ciklum can help the C-Level executive execute on his/her business strategy 
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen
  • Experienced working in a dynamic, fast paced, matrix structured, highly rewarding sales environment
