On behalf of Ciklum Digital, Ciklum is looking for a  Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the QA area
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with engineers, leads and stakeholders for an agile testing mindset and “Shift-left testing” Analyze and decompose our software systems and design the strategy and tools for the team to own their quality
• Directly support 1 cross functional development team and build test automation for our web products and applications
• Focus on delivering faster results using CI/CD tools to shorten the release life cycle
• Contribute to the production code (depending on your skills and interests, support for learning new languages provided)
• Working closely with the front and back end engineers and product manager to ensure continuation of maximized quality of our products

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in QA
• 3+ years of professional experience in QA Automation Web/Mobile and backend API testing
• Good understanding of development patterns
• Strong experience in creation of automation frameworks from scratch
• In-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures
• Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types
• Solid skills in nodejs/js and OOP (prototype approach)
• Proficient in JavaScript
• Prior experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Cypress or equivalent
• Strong experience with continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins, teamcity, or similar). CI tools setup, tuning and configuration.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban
• Strong level spoken and written proficiency in English

Desirable

• Experience in development
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java/C#/PHP would be a great plus.
• Some experience with cloud-based automation solutions like BitBar, Saucelabs, Browserstack
• Integration of GDPR principles in automation testing
• Knowledge of SQL and noSQL DB: mongo, redis
• Hands-on experience with Docker
