Ciklum is looking for a Lead .NET Software Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Lead .NET Software Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for the eToro. 

Ciklum is building a team to work on various projects which primary goal to improve and automate the customer’s business processes, reduce time and efforts, required for various operations.

Experience Group is responsible for the users' acquisition and retention experience. This includes the end-to-end onboarding journey: registration, affiliation and referral tracking, funnel personalization; and then engaging the users to become active platform users via the tailored homepage, social feeds, markets, portfolios, popular investors discovery, proactive targeted communication, and much more…

  • Overseeing and leading an R&D team of 3-5 engineers, including developers and QA/automation specialists
  • Building and developing the team, including coaching and mentoring individual engineers
  • Leading design, development, quality, and enablement of multiple functional and technical capabilities within a large-scale platform. Making ongoing design decisions, and focusing on multiple product domains and technologies
  • Owning and leading a part of the product’s functional and technical vision and roadmap
  • Initiating and facilitating R&D innovation, incubating and supporting new ideas
  • Establishing technical guidelines & procedures, promoting R&D best practices
  • Closely collaborating with Product Management and Business Owners, DevOps, DBA,and IT. Teaming up across organizational boundaries, and serving as a key stakeholder in major decision-making processes
  • Working smoothly with local and remote multi-geo R&D and non-R&D teams, while keeping high visibility and effective communication
  • Working with large-scale solution providers and vendors to develop partnerships and strategic platform capabilities
  • Acting as the team’s primary technical escalation point
  • Being hands-on: developing features and fixing bugs, running POCs, researching new technologies, conducting code reviews, and assisting teams as needed

  • Bachelor of Computer Science / Computer Engineering or graduate of leading technological units
  • At least 5 years of experience in the software development industry
  • At least 3 years of experience leading R&D teams
  • Extensive experience in architecting and developing 24×7, mission-critical services in the cloud – mandatory
  • Experience with C#, SQL, Redis, and messaging systems
  • Expertise in the development of best practices, coding principles, and architecture (SOLID, Clean Code, Clean Architecture)
  • Experience developing in modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.)

  • Strong spoken and written English
