Ciklum is looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:
As an Automation QA Engineer become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your skills in automation, API testing, and agile delivery, while working on enterprise-scale applications within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Postman or SoapUI
  • Conduct regression, integration, and API testing under senior guidance
  • Contribute to identifying, logging, and verifying defects during development and testing cycles
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Learn and apply QA best practices and continuously improve test effectiveness
  • Maintain clear and structured documentation of test cases and outcomes

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Working knowledge of Selenium, Postman, or SoapUI
  • Understanding of testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Eagerness to learn from senior engineers and grow in automation and API testing
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Desirable

  • Exposure to Core Java, RestAssured, TestNG, Git, or Maven
  • Awareness or experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe Agile
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes
