Ciklum is looking for a Business Development Manager (Digital Services) to join our team full-time in the USA.

About the role:

You will assume responsibility for seeking out and identifying new opportunities, building pipeline and delivering against a sales target with quality, profitable and sustainable wins. An exceptional networker and communicator, you will have a demonstrable track record in facilitating early-stage discussions and progressing them from prospect to close. Establishing and nurturing strong relationships is key as you work to understand the clients’ business, the market they operate within and the challenges they face to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels and activities
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries
  • Sales Strategy: Lead sales presentations and develop compelling proposals to win new clients
  • End-to-End Sales Management: Own and manage the entire sales cycle from demand generation to deal closure
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with prospective clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, delivery, and technical experts, to deliver client-centric solutions
  • Performance Orientation: Set and exceed sales targets with minimal supervision, driven by a dynamic, hunting-oriented approach

Requirements

  • Enterprise IT Sales Expertise: 5+ years of experience in selling IT services or SaaS solutions in one or more of the following areas:
    • Intelligent Automation
    • Data Engineering & Analytics
    • Digital Product Engineering
  • Network: Exceptional Rolodex of key executives within the retail and consumer goods sectors, with established relationships at 4-5 enterprise accounts in the region
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of closing $1 million+ in annual sales
  • Deal Orchestration: Expertise in managing $250K+ deals of varied complexity, working with both business and IT stakeholders within the same sales cycle
  • Client-Centric: Strong hunting and problem-solving skills with a sharp focus on understanding and addressing client needs
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
