Ciklum is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Full Stack Engineer, become a part of a high-performing engineering team developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications in a financial services environment. You will work across the stack, designing and building microservices and intuitive front-end applications while contributing to technical excellence and agile delivery. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems, enjoy working in cross-functional teams, and are eager to grow in a fast-paced, innovation-driven setup.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java (11+), Spring Boot, and REST APIs
  • Build responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular (13+) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices
  • Contribute to integration with databases like Oracle and external APIs
  • Participate in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development
  • Proficiency in Java (11+), Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
  • Solid experience with Angular (13+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
  • Experience working with relational databases, especially Oracle
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Spring WebFlux, MongoDB, SOAP, Axon Framework, Redis, GraphQL, or reactive programming concepts
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Background in financial services or payments domain is a plus
  • Prior exposure to SAFe Agile practices in large-scale delivery teams
