Ciklum is looking for a HR Specialist to join our team part-time in Romania.

We’re looking for an energetic and driven HR Specialist to join our team in Romania on a part-time basis, with the potential to evolve into an HR Partner role.

Responsibilities

As our HR Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and employee-friendly HR operations. You will:

  • Prepare employment-related documentation and contracts, including B2B agreements
  • Maintain employee and contractor records in line with legal requirements and internal policies
  • Manage employee lifecycle data changes (promotions, bonuses, contract updates)
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates in our internal HR system (ERM)
  • Respond to day-to-day HR-related inquiries from employees and contractors
  • Cooperate with payroll and benefit service providers (data preparation, coordination, and document processing)
  • Own HR administrative processes, including social benefit administration and visa/work permit documentation
  • Prepare standard HR reports and support data accuracy
  • Work in partnership with the Corporate HR Team to identify opportunities and areas of improvement to support organizational performance in line with business needs
  • Guide and coach managers on employee relations and HR issues in line with Company policies, best practices and local law

While this role is operationally focused, you’ll also support selected HR Partner activities, such as:

  • Onboard and integrate new employees into the team and local culture
  • Support performance management, feedback processes, and career development
  • Serve as a primary contact for HR-related inquiries and support
  • Facilitate salary reviews, retention efforts, and employee engagement activities
  • Conduct employee interviews, support redeployment, and handle exit processes
  • Enhance employee relations, resolve issues, and coordinate relocation processes
  • Collaborate with leadership and teams to achieve business goals
  •  Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR operations or generalist roles (min. 2 years preferred)
  • Profound knowledge in Romanian Labor Law
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 or higher) – both written and spoken
  • Advanced PC user (MS Office with emphasis on Excel and Word, Google Docs, any HR Admin system / HRIS)
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Fast in troubleshooting and managing escalations
  • Energy, curiosity, and a true passion for HR and working with people. Openness to develop into an HR Partner role over time

Desirable

  • Experience in a multinational or remote-first IT company
  • Knowledge of visa/relocation procedures or experience with international employment
