Ciklum is looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Slovakia.

About the role:

As a Junior Manual QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and refines functional requirements
  • Maintain QA documentation (such as Checklists, Test Cases, and Bug Reports) using Test Management and Bug Tracking tools
  • Perform functional, regression, cross-platform, and UI/UX testing under the supervision
  • Participate in the team's activities according to the methodology used – daily meetings, planning, retrospectives, etc.
  • Follow the team's rules & procedures set on the project

Requirements

  • Software Testing:
    • Practical experience in functional (regression, cross-platform, UI/UX testing) testing types
    • Working with technical and business requirements
    • Hands-on experience in creating test cases/checklists using different test design techniques
    • Knowledge and experience in bug report creation and following established bug life cycle
  • Technologies and Tools:
    • Experience with creating simple API requests (GET, POST) and understanding responses
    • Ability to work with established debugging tools (e.g. DevTools), Bug tracking, and Test Management tools
  • SDLC:
    • Participating in all meetings according to the product methodology (such as daily meetings, planning, retrospectives, etc.)

Desirable

  • Software Testing:
    • Ability to follow a step-by-step guide to use basic functions of the CI/CD tool
    • Mobile projects: Practical experience with basic mobile testing types (interrupt, UI/UX, network) and with Mobile App Distribution Tools
    • Automation projects: Ability to select test cases for automation

The salary starts from 1250 Euro gross. The final salary depends on the previous experience and professional knowledge of the candidate.
