Ciklum is looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join our team full-time in Islamabad.

About the role:

As a Junior .NET Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop simple components or their parts under supervision
  • Fix your own bugs and cover them with tests
  • Participate in the team's activities according to the methodology used – daily meetings, planning, retrospectives, etc
  • Follow the team's rules & procedures set on the project

Requirements

Software Design:

  • Application of object-oriented principles and practices
  • Ability to work with technical documentation and use it during development
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles
  • Worded in monolithic and microservices application is must
    • ○ Http Triggers and ServiceBus Triggers

Software Development:

  • Knowledge and experience in C# and .NET Core 8
  • Hands-on experience in developing web applications
  • Practical experience in writing queries to relational or NoSQL databases
  • Should have knowledge about TDD
  • Azure
  • Azure
    • ○ Azure ARM Templates
    • ○ My Access
    • ○ Azure Governor
    • ○ Azure Portal
    • ○ Azure Functions

Quality Assurance:

  • Practical experience in writing unit tests

Software Deployment:

  • Ability to follow the CI/CD process established on the project

Desirable

Software Development:

  • Experience in debugging applications
  • Practical experience with any ORM framework (e.g. Entity Framework, Dapper)
  • Application of authentication and authorization mechanisms for controlling access to web resources

Personal skills

  • Communication is a key. You speak and write in English fluently or at least at upper-intermediate level

Self-development:

  • Curious and fast learner that doesn't miss a chance for self-development

Drive:

  • Constantly improve the quality of their work
