Ciklum is looking for a Junior Support Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Junior Support Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries
  • Manage and maintain the Service Desk system
  • Analyze and resolve customer issues or escalate them to developers or higher support levels when necessary
  • Track and monitor issues to resolution, ensuring timely updates to customers
  • Develop and implement web-based support resources, such as knowledge bases and technical documentation
  • Regularly update and maintain documentation
  • Communicate with customers via email, voice, and video conferencing
  • Complete ongoing tasks and meet established deadlines

Requirements

  • Basic technical background (formal IT education or relevant courses are advantageous)
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, and Windows Server
  • Proficient in using PC-based computer systems
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and address customer issues effectively
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Familiarity with standard support procedures, including reporting, escalation, and follow-up
  • Ability to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions for system issues
  • Availability to work in shifts (morning-day, day-evening, evening-night)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Desirable

  • Practical experience with Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, and Windows Server
  • Familiarity with support tools such as FreshDesk or Zendesk
  • Previous experience in IT support or a related role
