Ciklum is looking for a KubeVirt Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a KubeVirt Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement virtualization solutions using KubeVirt on top of Kubernetes
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtualized workloads in hybrid cloud environments
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate KubeVirt into CI/CD pipelines
  • Optimize performance and resource usage for virtualized and containerized workloads
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance in virtual environments
  • Provide technical expertise and support during development and production operations
  • Document architecture, procedures, and standards

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Kubernetes and containerized environments
  • Hands-on experience with KubeVirt, virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, QEMU)
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or Go)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and observability frameworks
  • Knowledge of networking, storage, and cloud-native technologies
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Desirable

  • Experience working with OpenShift or similar enterprise Kubernetes platforms
  • Certification in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or related technologies
  • Experience in telecom, infrastructure, or highly regulated environments
