Ciklum is looking for a Middle Full Stack QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Middle Full Stack QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Select and implement automation test cases based on project needs
  • Develop automated functional UI tests & API/Service level tests
  • Manual testing of new features
  • Create test cases for manual and automated execution
  • Follows established CI/CD process
  • Maintain, and expand automated testing infrastructure
  • Ensure code quality with peer reviews to ensure guidelines and standards are followed
  • Able to determine test effectiveness, and testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product as a part of the QA process
  • Report about the quality of the product under test
  • Onboard new team members on the project
  • Technical advice and mentorship on the company level

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in QA Automation for Web and backend/API testing
  • Experience with JavaScript-based testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Playwright)
  • Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques, types, and methodologies
  • Experience creating test documentation (test strategy, test plans, test cases, bug reports, etc.)
  • Strong skills in JavaScript and knowledge of programming patterns and principles
  • Experience in test reporting (e.g. Allure, or similar)
  • Experience developing automation frameworks from scratch
  • Experience delivering quality-assured automation scripts using web & API (REST) based automation tools
  • Familiarity with BDD, ATDD, and TDD approaches
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
  • Experience with Test Management Systems (e.g. Zephyr, xRay, TestRail)
  • Experience with Bug Tracking systems (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Good knowledge of AWS/Azure DevOps services
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban development environment
  • Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate and above

Desirable

  • Experience with mobile automation and cloud device farms
  • Experience with message brokers/queues: SQS, SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus
  • Experience integrating GDPR principles into automated testing
