.NET Software Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a .Net Software Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As .Net Software Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain C# applications following best practices and modern development standards
  • Build and maintain ASP.NET 4.6.X applications while working with .NET 8 for modernization efforts
  • Design, write, and optimize SQL tables and stored procedures in MSSQL Server
  • Work with Dapper for efficient database interactions
  • Develop internal tools to help reduce manual change requests and enhance the efficiency of the Customer Care, Implementations, and Account Services teams
  • Conduct thorough self-testing to ensure quality before handing off to QA
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Utilize Git for version control and work within Azure DevOps for development tasks
  • Debug and maintain legacy code while contributing to modernization efforts
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize SQL queries and C# applications
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure application reliability and performance
  • Work with React (if applicable), with opportunities to expand front-end skills
     

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in C# development
  • 3+ years of experience working with MSSQL Server, including Stored Procedures and Advanced Queries
  • Experience with ASP.NET 4.6.X and .NET 8
  • Strong understanding of Dapper for database interactions
  • Experience with Git for source control
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2022 and Visual Studio Code
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to thoroughly test code before passing it to QA
  • Experience in building internal tools that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and working with XML/JSON data formats
  • Familiarity with React is a plus, with opportunities to grow front-end development skills
  • Knowledge of Windows Services, Scheduled Tasks, or WinForms applications is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot SQL and application performance issues
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
