About the role:

As a Program Director, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

This role will ensure seamless program implementation, optimize operational performance, and drive strategic initiatives for healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Payer and PBM ecosystems, healthcare technology, and delivery leadership. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong track record in leading and delivering large, complex transformation programs encompassing business, technology, and operational change in healthcare, including AI/ML-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end program management for Payer and PBM initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance, and industry regulations
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement and optimize PBM technology solutions, claims processing, and benefit administration
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare payers, PBMs, vendors, and internal teams
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
  • Lead and execute large-scale transformation programs that involve business, technology, andvoperational changes
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving program challenges through proactive problem-solving
  • Stay updated on regulatory and industry changes affecting PBM and Payer environments, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment
  • Drive operational efficiencies, process improvements, and cost savings within healthcare delivery programs
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate and enhance technology solutions for Payer and PBM services
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project progress, outcomes, and key performance metrics
  • Mentor and develop a team of healthcare program managers and delivery specialists

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • 18+ Years of overall experience with 8+ years in Program management
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare delivery, with a strong focus on Payer and PBM program management
  • Extensive experience in leading large, complex transformation programs involving business, technology, and operational change
  • Understanding of PBM operations, claims adjudication, formulary management, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale healthcare technology implementations
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Expertise in Agile and traditional project management methodologies (PMP or equivalent certification is a plus)
  • Ability to analyze complex data, drive insights, and make strategic recommendations
  • Experience working with PBM, and Payer systems and integrations

Desirable

  • Knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicaid/Medicare programs, and commercial landscapes
  • Experience in healthcare consulting or technology-driven transformations
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in PBM and Payer services
