Ciklum is looking for a Senior Back End Developer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Senior Back End Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 

The client is a venture-backed enterprise security company focused on helping organizations better protect and manage personal data privacy: customers, employees, or clients. The company is geographically distributed, and it is developing operations in Israel, the US, and Europe.

The company provides enterprise software for managing and protecting customer and employee data in the data center or cloud. Our PII protection and privacy technology combines machine learning and identity intelligence to help organizations secure personal data and meet new privacy regulations like GDPR. 

You will be a part of the team responsible for handling permission and security risks for different data sources.

Responsibilities

  • Write highly testable, automatable, and performant code over the whole SDLC using high coding standards and software best practices
  • Develop product, and deliver features and updates according to the product roadmap
  • Develop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/updates to specifications for the solution
  • Participate in the team's activities according to the methodology used – daily meetings, plannings, retrospectives, etc.

Requirements

Software development:

  • 3-5 years of knowledge and experience in implementing services by using Java or other typed languages (C#, C++, Go, etc.)
  • Willing to work with TypeScript over NodeJS
  • Strong understanding of databases, scale considerations, and performance
  • Experience with Databases – Mongo
  • Experience with Queues – RabbitMQ / Kafka
  • Elastic 
  • Experience with microservices (preferably in Kubernetes environments)
  • Knowledge in cloud technologies AWS

Quality Assurance:

  • Practical experience in writing unit/integration tests. Able to spot the issues and define a Technical debt

Desirable

  • Experience with Nest.js
  • You have experience with Cyber Security
