Ciklum is looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior BI Analyst, join our growing analytics team and build high-impact dashboards and reports using Tableau. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, technical expertise, and hands-on experience with BI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and refine BI requirements, define KPIs, and support decision-making with data
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that drive insights across departments
  • Write optimised SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure the quality and availability of data
  • Perform root-cause analysis and data validation to ensure high trust in BI outputs
  • Translate complex data into accessible, visual narratives for business users
  • Document BI processes and contribute to the evolution of self-service capabilities
  • Mentor junior team members; evangelise BI best practices and standards across the organisation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BI, Data Analysis, or similar roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and SQL
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, data visualisation principles, and performance tuning
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Redshift, Snowflake)
  • Exposure to product analytics or customer behaviour analysis
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable

  •  Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Looker)
  • Exposure to scripting (Python/R) or data transformation tools (dbt, Alteryx)
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance practices
