Ciklum is looking for a Senior Data Management Specialist to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a  Senior Data Management Specialist, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data cataloging, data governance, and metadata management, leveraging ATLAN’s platform to optimize and streamline data processes. This role is critical in ensuring data is well-organized, accessible, and secure for effective decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Data Catalog Management:
    • Implement and manage ATLAN’s data catalog solutions to enhance data discovery and collaboration
    • Maintain metadata quality and ensure alignment with organizational data governance policies
  • Metadata Management:
    • Define and manage metadata standards, ensuring consistent data documentation across multiple systems
    • Collaborate with data stewards and stakeholders to enrich metadata with business context
  • Integration and Automation:
    • Integrate ATLAN with existing tools and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar)
    • Automate repetitive data management tasks to improve efficiency
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide cataloging solutions
    • Conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure effective usage of ATLAN
  • Data Governance and Security
    • Support data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
    • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) for data security

Requirements

  • Experience in technical solutions for customers using Atlan’s platform, ensuring smooth integration with their existing data stack, workflows, and tools
  • Understand their data architecture and ability to share guidance on how to optimize their data workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring seamless data flows and synchronization across platforms
  • Implemented Technical integrations via APIs between Atlan and other tools in the data ecosystem
  • Identify root causes of data-related problems and develop action plans to resolve them quickly and effectively
  • Familiarity of technical guidance and best practices for data governance, data modeling and analytics within the Atlan platform
  • Provide training on Atlan’s advanced technical features, ensuring team members are leveraging the platform effectively

This is a long term project opportunity depending upon the resource quality.

This is an immediate requirement and can be onboarded as early the resource is available.

FTE Resource as this is a long term depending on the resource skill set strengths
