Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

With almost 100 million active users across 25 countries, they’re a global food tech company. As a recently formed team, they have many opportunities and ideas for sharing value back to the customers within their continuously expanding platform. They're looking for talented and trusted engineers to help them impress their customers.

Responsibilities

  • Regular EKS Upgrades 
  • Automate Upgardes (EKS/Istio/Core-Services)
  • Maintain Legacy (Legacy EKS/Marathon/Ec2s)
  • Support migrations to the new consolidated OneEKS platform
  • Regular improvements on EKS Scaling (Keda/Karpenter/Scaleops)
  • Support regular developer requirements

Requirements

  • Deploy, manage, and operate workloads on AWS, including EKS, EC2, SQS, SNS, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB
  • Deploy, manage, and operate workloads on Kubernetes. Administer Kubernetes clusters (CKA level)
  • Strong skills in network services, including DNS, TLS/SSL and HTTP
  • Advanced Linux system administration, including common tasks regarding the Linux kernel, performance analysis and debugging in Linux environment. Linux command line tools
  • Intermediate level software development skills. Go is preferred

Desirable

  • Understand Linux Containers
  • Software systems design using micro-service and event-driven architecture patterns. Experience in handling large, distributed systems
  • SRE practices, including monitoring, automation, release engineering, incident management and troubleshooting while being on-call
  • DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code software tools
  • Common cloud security threats and solutions
