Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute actively and lead various aspects of our cloud infrastructure and shared services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both engineering and operations, capable of independent work and guiding others.

Responsibilities

  • Work unsupervised with cloud foundation topics
  • Actively contribute to and lead platform engineering for Azure shared services
  • Actively contribute to and lead non-Azure system team shared services
  • Extend existing and create new Terraform modules
  • Debug existing scripts (TypeScript, Bash, Python, YAML)
  • Understand Swissmedic Security Requirements
  • Navigate the GRC-Toolbox and relevant security documents

Requirements

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Networking: Expertise in refactoring Hub-Spoke Topologies, managing private DNS zones, and providing Private-Endpoint-Modules
  • Monitoring & Security: Proficiency in using Log Analytics Workspace for debugging and managing Sentinel Alerts
  • Azure Governance: Ability to adapt Azure policy-assignments and exemptions, design FinOps, cost-overviews, dashboards, and tagging concepts
  • Containerization & Kubernetes (AKS): Experience in hosting and operating AKS clusters, including networking, node pools, auto-scaling, monitoring, and debugging. Knowledge of AKS Innenausbau (NGINX-Ingress-Controller, Cert-Manager, ISTIO) and AKS Surroundings (CSI Driver integration, workload identities)
  • Application Gateway & Certificates: Capability to adapt AGW setup for API Management, update Private-Listener IP Addresses, integrate AGW KeyVault, and manage certificate lifecycles
  • Container Registry: Skill in defining ACR integration into CI-CD and managing permission groups, and understanding ACR Caching Rules
  • Shared Services & Automation: Experience in integrating Azure Communication Service (ACS), adapting Malware-Scanning Terraform Module, performing solution-design for Security & Audit Log Store Shared Service, and providing Terraform Backend and SFTP Storage Account modules
  • GitHub & CI/CD: Proficiency in Github Governance, managing Global Secrets, implementing IaC CI-CD Integrations for repository vending, integrating Github with Entra ID, implementing Github Teams automation, and utilizing Pipeline 1.0/2.0 capabilities. Knowledge of reusable actions/workflows, Dependabot, Renovate, Nexus integration, Sonarqube, Github Runners, and Base-Images
