Ciklum is looking for a Senior Flutter Software Engineer to join our team full-time in Slovakia.

About the role:

As a Senior Flutter Software Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 

The Client is the central solution provider for information technology of the group. The project is about to plan, develop and operate all aspects of information technology ranging from network infrastructure over classic back-end-systems to the latest digital technology and all required services. Our IT experts are highly skilled developers with innovative visions and growth mindset. They combine online pure play with omnichannel experience and set new standards for the optimal use of future-proof IT solutions in fashion retail. Our work is technically demanding and challenging, with the aim of maximizing individual development potential to provide a value-added contribution to achieve the company`s goal of becoming Europe’s leading omnichannel retailer for fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement applications in line with software engineering best practices and principles
  • Ensure and maintain the defined level of code quality throughout the project
  • Implement necessary infrastructure changes to enable successful deployment and adoption across three platforms: iOS, Android, and Android-based POS terminals
  • Collaborate and provide guidance to mid-level teammate

Requirements

Language Proficiency:

  • English: good verbal and written communication skills

Technical Skills:

  • Flutter Development: Extensive experience in developing mobile applications using Flutter
  • Dart Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Dart programming language, including its syntax and features
  • Latest Technologies: Up-to-date with the latest advancements in Flutter
  • Native Development: Experience in native development for Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) is a plus
  • Best Practices & Clean Architecture: Strong understanding of implementing best practices and clean architecture in Flutter applications
  • State Management: Expertise in state management solutions like Bloc, Provider, Riverpod, etc
  • Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize app performance and ensure a seamless user experience
  • Testing: Experience with unit testing, widget testing, and integration testing
  • Backend Integration: Proficiency in integrating backend services, including RESTful APIs and databases

Tools & Technologies:

  • Firebase: Familiarity with Firebase services such as Remote Config, Analytics, etc
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions or similar)
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub
  • Third-Party Libraries: Experience in integrating and using third-party libraries and APIs

Desirable

  • UI/UX Design: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with designers
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
  • Open Source Contributions: Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the Flutter community
  • Material Design Guidelines: Familiarity with Material Design and its implementation in Flutter apps

The salary starts from 3400 Eur gross. The final salary depends on the previous experience and professional knowledge of the candidate.
