Ciklum is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Senior JavaScript Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You’ll navigate an exciting landscape where innovation is constant, working on the frontline to develop and refine security agents for macOS, Windows, and all major browsers. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, with a deep technical understanding of endpoint security and extensive experience developing agents and browser extensions. Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain secure endpoint agents for macOS, Windows, and browser extensions compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
  • Implement and optimize platform-specific features, ensuring seamless and secure functionality across macOS and Windows endpoints
  • Build browser extensions focused on security, integrating them with our platform for real-time threat detection and data protection
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing agents and extensions to improve performance, compatibility, and security
  • Collaborate with security engineers, QA, and product teams to align agent functionality with security goals
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including data protection and secure communication with backend services
  • Optimize agents and extensions to minimize system resource usage while maximizing performance and reliability
  • Stay current with the latest developments in macOS, Windows, and browser security, incorporating relevant advancements into our agents and extensions

Requirements

  • Software Design:
    • Proficient in different API architectural styles (monolith, microservices, serverless)
    • Experience in designing solutions using the proper patterns and development standards
  • Software development: 
    • At least 4 years of experience with  NodeJS
    • Proficiency in browser extension development (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)- Advantage
    • Experience with macOS and Windows Endpoint Security – Advantage
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment
    • Communication and collaboration skills
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Practical experience with testing approaches and tools
    • Supporting code quality metrics
    • Familiar with monitoring and logging tools
  • Software Deployment:
    • Hands-on experience with application deployment patterns and tools (Docker)
    • Prior record in infrastructure configuration using popular cloud providers (like AWS)
