About the role:

As a Senior JavaScript Software Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing complex web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to best engineering practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing applications and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and quality standards. This position provides an opportunity to lead frontend projects, mentor junior developers, and help shape the future of cutting-edge digital solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex web applications using established best practices and modern development approaches
  • Improve engineering and quality standards within the team while guiding other team members in their adoption
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines or assist the DevOps team in setting up more advanced deployment pipelines
  • Participate in the hiring process, conducting technical interviews and assessing potential candidates
  • Mentor and supervise mid-level and junior engineers as needed to support project requirements
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to develop seamless user experiences
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in frontend development and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Hands-on experience with advanced features in React, Angular, or Vue
  • Experience in designing solutions for complex frontend applications and maintaining comprehensive documentation
  • Expertise in frontend state management, such as Redux, Vuex, or NgRx
  • Solid experience in refactoring existing applications to meet new business or technical requirements
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization techniques
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap
  • Hands-on experience with testing approaches and tools, including unit and integration testing
  • Experience in configuring CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TravisCI, GitLabCI, or similar
  • Ability to collaborate with DevOps teams to set up and optimize custom CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required
  • Additional languages are a plus but not mandatory
