Ciklum is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:
As a Senior Manual QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for a major credit card company on products related to security and data encryption. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and refines functional requirements
  • Designs, reviews and maintains QA documentation (such as Checklists, Test Cases, Bug Reports, Test Reports etc.) following QA best practices and principles
  • Performs functional and non-functional testing. Analyzes results and testing outcomes
  • Participates in the team's activities according to the methodology used (daily, planning, retrospective meetings, etc). Estimates own scope for testing under supervision
  • Efficiently uses Test Management and Bug Tracker tools, follows testing standards and team-agreed rules

Requirements

Software Testing:

  • Practical experience in functional and non-functional testing types
  • Proficiency in Requirements Analysis and creation of Requirements Traceability Matrix
  • Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining test cases/checklists, bug reports, test reports using different techniques and best practices

Technologies and Tools:

  • Background in creating simple API requests, understanding responses and working with REST/SOAP APIs
  • Prior record in creating SQL queries
  • Prior record in creating Spark-complient queries
  • Strong grasp of established Bug tracking and Test Management tools
  • Basic practical experience with Sales/Markering platforms like HubSpot CRM/Marketing hub or any similar alternative as a data feed validation
  • Background working with AWS cloud services (Glue, S3, RDS, Databricks)

SDLC:

  • Participating in all meetings according to the product methodology (such as daily meetings, planning, retrospective etc.)
  • Familiar with tasks estimation and prioritization

Desirable

Software Testing:

  • Practical experience with basic functions of the CI/CD tool
  • Data Platform projects: Practical experience with database testing for different data modalities types: structured, semi-structured

Personal skills

  • Communication is a key. You speak and write in English fluently or at least at upper-intermediate level
