As part of a cross-functional development team, your work will directly impact scaling the platform to handle heavy loads and achieve global reach. Collaborating closely with our talented tech team, you'll bring fresh ideas—whether inspired by user feedback or market trends—and help us make smart, lasting decisions that drive success.

The challenge: 1 million users rely on our platform, and we aim to scale to 50 million. Stability and scalability are critical as we enhance the framework, improve robustness, and optimize key features like authorization, routing, and component interaction. It’s a demanding role, but the reward is immense—you’ll shape our mobile approach and elevate the experience for millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Mobile App Development: Design the core architecture of our mobile application, setup and maintain best practices and take ownership of the roadmap to ensure that our mobile application runs smoothly
  • Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following industry best practices and company standards
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in our mobile app, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience
  • Security: Ensure that the security of our mobile app is of the highest possible standard
  • Integration with Backend Services: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and other backend functionalities into the mobile application
  • Testing & Debugging: Work together with our feature teams and QA department to develop a framework for running and executing unit, integration, and UI tests for our mobile application
  • Deployment & Maintenance: Collaborate with our release manager to oversee the deployment of our mobile application to App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) and manage post-release maintenance and updates

Requirements

  • Proven track record of 5+ years working with Vue.js
  • At least 2 years of experience with Capacitor
  • Experienced with iOS/Xcode, Android SDKs, performance optimization and app security
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android SDKs and deployment processes
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with Git and Xcode
  • Nice to have – Cordoba and Ionic Experience
