Ciklum is looking for a Senior NAV Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Design, develop, and customize functionality in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 using C/AL and C/SIDE
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, code units, pages, and tables according to business needs
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing NAV implementations, including troubleshooting and debugging
  • Develop integrations with third-party systems (CRM, payroll, banking, e-commerce) using web services (SOAP/OData), XMLports, and APIs
  • Ensure system performance and optimize queries, reports, and overall application efficiency
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for solutions, configurations, and deployment processes
  • Implement role-based security and data protection practices in line with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 development
  • Strong knowledge of C/SIDE, and core NAV architecture
  • Experience with system integration and external API communication
  • Understanding of database structure and query optimization (NAV, SQL Server)
  • Experience with technical documentation, version control, and release procedures
  • Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging tools
  • Experience implementing role-based security models
  • Upper-intermediate English (written and spoken)

Desirable

  • Experience with upgrades and data migration using RapidStart or custom tools
  • Knowledge of AL language and extensions for future migration to Dynamics 365
  • Business Central
  • Basic understanding of SQL Server, including T-SQL, indexing, and performance tuning
