About the role:

As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 

We are seeking a Senior .Net Software Engineer to join, responsible for developing and optimizing our payment infrastructure. This role emphasizes integrating new payment methods and gateways to provide a seamless and secure payment experience for our customers, while maintaining the highest standards of scalability, reliability, and Performance.

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to established coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in the design of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
  • Develop and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure robust code quality and coverage
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product, to deliver seamless and effective solutions
  • Debug, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges across the payment ecosystem,prioritizing timely resolutions
  • Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to clean code principles
  • Document systems, processes, and codebase changes to support team knowledge sharing and onboarding efforts
  • Keep up with industry trends and new technologies to contribute to continuous improvements in tools, processes, and methodologies
  • Assist in the deployment of new releases and hotfixes, ensuring smooth operations in collaboration with the DevOps team
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering growth and development within the team

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using .NET technologies
  • Solid experience in conducting code reviews, with a focus on clean code principles, maintainability, and adherence to industry standards
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks ensuring high-quality code coverage
  • Strong expertise in managing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Azure DevOps
  • Deep understanding of SQL, including writing efficient queries, optimizing performance, and working with complex database schemas
  • Familiarity with process schedulers and their integration into workflows for efficient task management
  • Proven ability to integrate third-party systems and APIs to deliver seamless and robust end-to-end solutions
  • Knowledge with Windows Azure, including hybrid and on-premise cloud architectures, and designing scalable cloud-based solutions
  • Familiarity with implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for performance and issue tracking

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience in developing modern applications using .NET Core,including API design
  • Strong knowledge of concurrent processes, including their design,implementation, and synchronization techniques
  • Knowledge of scalable and maintainable coding practices, with a focus on implementing proven design patterns
  • Proficiency in profiling tools and techniques to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostics using Azure Application
  • Insights to ensure reliability and observability of applications

Personal skills

  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment and effective communication within the team
  • Proactivity in identifying and solving technical problems, demonstrating ownership and initiative
  • Language Requirement:
    • Advanced to fluent English proficiency both written and spoken
    • Advanced to fluent Spanish proficiency both written and spoken
