Ciklum is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior Python Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain server-side applications using Python with integration into AWS services like Lambda and EKS
  • Architect and deploy microservices that are optimized for scalability and high availability in cloud environments
  • Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform to automate deployments and configurations
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers and guide them in following best practices for cloud development

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python with experience in frameworks like Flask or FastAPI
  • Strong expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, and API Gateway
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • In-depth knowledge of Terraform for managing cloud resources and deploying infrastructure
  • Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and Linux environments
  • Experience in automating CI/CD processes with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

Desirable

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Experience in fintech or capital markets domains
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages like Java or Go
  • Proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver within set timelines
