Ciklum is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team full-time in Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and developing new engineers-facing products and features
  • Building robust and scalable software components and services
  • Optimizing applications to maximize speed and scalability
  • Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders and globally
  • Taking a flexible, proactive approach to your work

Requirements

  • An innovative and exploratory mindset is crucial, a drive to learn; offering new perspectives on existing solutions
  • You have experience supporting and maintaining high availability within a SaaS or Web Application and will have strong knowledge of web architecture
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python in production environments, with an understanding of design patterns (SOLID, DRY)
  • A strong drive for application and performance testing
  • Strong experience with AWS or similar, with a focus on Containeratisation and Kubernetes
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API or GraphQL API design and development
  • Experience working with GIT and CI/CD tooling (Github Actions, Gitlab, Argo CD, AzureDevops)
  • Experience using different tools and methods to monitor systems in production, using such tools as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog or AWS CloudWatch
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code
  • Clear concise technical documentation; creating and maintaining runbooks and end user documentation
  • Comfortable working in Agile teams and participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
