Ciklum is looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the client:
The company offers a data-driven container solution that allows pharma companies to optimize their supply chain by reducing, and even predicting, the risk of delivering sensitive drugs by air. It brings together big data, software and hardware to transform an ever-evolving supply chain.

About the role:
As a Senior Python Software Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The role will involve working on field testing (including deployment and shipping), evaluating results, and finalizing a double opt-in script. If the tool performs well in the field, it will be rolled out more widely.
In the longer term, the engineer is expected to support internal team growth by mentoring and upskilling local engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining Python scripts for field testing and monitoring tools
  • Contributing to IPI tooling and data processing pipelines
  • Performing data analysis and creating visual outputs (plots, dashboards, summaries) using libraries such as Matplotlib or Plotly
  • Investigating specific shipments and conducting sensitive data analysis
  • Building dashboards to present insights and support decision-making

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Python
  • Experience or at least good understanding of libraries such as Matplotlib or Plotly
  • Strong experience in data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in mentoring team members
  • Proactive, curious, and have a strong sense of investigation, especially in scenarios where shipment outcomes need to be queried or understood in depth

Desirable

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience leading and mentoring other team members
