Ciklum is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

Responsibilities

  •  Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium
  • Cross-Platform Testing: Leverage Java ,C# and Selenium for automating tests across different environments and platforms
  • Continuous Integration & Delivery: Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, ensuring that tests run automatically with each build
  • Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test scripts in Sauce Labs for cross-browser testing, generating detailed reports, and analyzing test results to identify defects and areas for improvement
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and create effective test cases
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior automation engineers and provide guidance on best practices and improvements to automation strategies
  • Test Coverage & Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve test coverage, ensuring that new features are thoroughly tested. Optimize test performance to ensure fast feedback cycles

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing
    • Strong experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver for web application testing
    • Experience with C# and Selenium for cross-platform test automation
    • Solid understanding of testing in a CI/CD pipeline and integrating test automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
    • Familiarity with Sauce Labs or other cloud-based testing solutions
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, primarily Java and C#
    • Deep knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit
    • Experience in automating both functional and regression tests
    • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
    • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)

Desirable

  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assure
  • Familiarity with performance testing and security testing
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms

  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
  •  Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
