About the role:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll become a part of a cross-functional development team working for a fast-growing, profitable, well-funded, and dynamic global payments company.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Development, Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other teams and departments
  • Work within an autonomous scrum team in an agile environment to achieve business goals
  • Requirements analyses and requirements testing (Inspection)
  • Developing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases
  • Support our continuous integration and deployment environment
  • Maintaining and fixing broken automated scripts (in case of relevant experience)
  • Taking an active role in refining our test strategy to improve test coverage and efficiency, using a deep understanding of the business logic of complex systems
  • Spreading a quality-centric mindset within your team, overseeing design, architecture, development, code, and a stable production environment
  • Test planning, and execution following best practices, testing pyramid, and company QA standards
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting of UI code, debugging (Chrome tool)
  • Leading and running complex E2E Testing for Web applications and Web services while ensuring coverage and monitoring
  • Strong use of SQL queries performing tests

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of QA hands-on experience (BE and UI)
  • Experience with SCRUM methodology, actively fostering a culture of quality mindset and encouraging test execution by the entire team
  • Testing experience with event-driven and microservices architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with API testing, SQL, and understand CI/CD pipelines for test execution
  • Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies (experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution)
  • Strong analytical abilities and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
  • A responsible and dedicated worker, willing to work in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Motivated team player who helps drive the team forward
  • Familiarity with formal testing tools like Swagger, Postman, Mock tools, etc.

Desirable

  • 1-2 years of experience in Leadership and Test management
  • 1-2 years of experience in automation testing with tools such as Selenium, or API testing (knowing to read code/logs, troubleshooting/ investigation)
  • Ability to read/understand C# or similar languages used in test automation
  • Experience in using CI/CD tools
  • Automation projects: Master proficiency in Introduction of Automation test approach, Test cases for Automation creation, Automation Test Reports analysis, Automation metrics gathering
