About the role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Our Client is a fast-growing, profitable, well-funded and dynamic global payments company. Its offices are located in Israel, New York and more. It is serving thousands of corporates and millions of end-users (payment receivers), in 190+ countries R&D organization holds almost 500 workers (Developers, Manual QA, Automation QA, DBA, IT, Professional services / production support). R&D teams are operating in SCRUM methodology, with product managers involved in each team.
Client systems are based on Microsoft and open-source technologies serving both international WEB users and the Company internal users. R&D is looking to extend its capacity for new-developments and existing product enhancements, in high quality and fast pace of delivery. With client’s fast, flexible, secure and low-cost solutions, businesses and professionals in both developed and emerging markets can now pay and get paid globally as easily as they do locally.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Development, Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other teams and departments
- Work within an autonomous scrum team in an agile environment to achieve business goals
- Requirements analyses and requirements testing (Inspection)
- Developing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases and overall test plans
- Selecting and prioritizing test cases for automation to support our continuous integration and deployment environment
- Maintaining and fixing broken automated scripts
- Taking an active role in refining our test strategy to improve test coverage and efficiency, using a deep understanding of the business logic of complex systems
- Spreading a quality-centric mindset within your team, overseeing design, architecture, development, code, and a stable production environment
- Taking an active role in defining the shape of the future of online payments
- Guiding team members on automation test, test planning, and execution following best practices, testing pyramid, and company QA standards
- Leading and running complex E2E Testing for Web applications and Web services while ensuring coverage and monitoring
- Strong use of SQL queries performing tests
Requirements
- At least 3 years of QA hands-on experience (UI/BE)
- At least 1-2 years of experience in automation testing with tools such as Selenium, or API testing
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Leadership and Test management
- Experience with SCRUM methodology, actively fostering a culture of quality mindset and encouraging test execution by the entire team
- Testing experience with event-driven and microservices architecture
- Knowledge in programming with C# or similar languages used in test automation
- Experience with API testing, SQL, and setting up CI/CD pipelines for test execution
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies (experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution)
- Strong analytical abilities and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
- A responsible and dedicated worker, willing to work in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Motivated team player who helps drive the team forward
- Familiarity with formal testing tools like Swagger, Postman, Mock tools, etc.
Desirable
Software Testing:
- Experience in using CI/CD tools (Git commands) and debugging proxy tools (Fiddler, CharlesProxy, etc)
- Automation projects: Master proficiency in Introduction of Automation test approach, Test cases for Automation creation, Automation Test Reports analysis, Automation metrics gathering
