About the role:

As a Senior Support Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project. Our client is a global leader in systematic financial strategies, leveraging advanced technology to exploit market inefficiencies. With a strong emphasis on research, technology, and collaboration, they operate a relaxed yet intellectually intense work environment where innovation and continuous improvement are key drivers of success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for internal systems and users across various core platforms
  • Monitor and respond to critical system alerts and incidents, triaging and escalating when appropriate
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Perform regular health checks and generate system performance reports
  • Take ownership of ticket-based tasks and follow through to resolution
  • Contribute to improving support processes and documentation

Requirements

  • A strong academic background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • 1+ years of experience working in a Linux-based environment
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes and containerized systems
  • Familiarity with source control tools (GitHub, GitLab)
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team

Desirable

  • Previous experience in production support or technical operations roles
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, CloudWatch)
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation tools is a plus
