About the role:

As a Technical Lead (Payments Team), you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 

Seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive technical excellence within the Payments Team by leading payment integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry best practices. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical leadership, mentorship, and problem resolution
  • Design, develop, and maintain third-party payment gateway integrations
  • Improve payment platform reliability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align payment solutions with business objectives
  • Establish and refine processes, tools, and standards for development
  • Ensure compliance with payment industry regulations, such as PCI DSS
  • Oversee system performance monitoring, deployment, and documentation

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience with .NET technologies
  • Expertise in clean code principles, API integrations, and SQL Server
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and .NET Core
  • Strong background in cloud architectures (Microsoft Azure) and concurrent processes
  • Experience with third-party system integrations and scalable solutions
  • Technical Leadership & Development:
    • Lead development and implementation of high-quality software solutions
    • Align architectural decisions with business goals
    • Promote clean code principles, unit testing, and best practices
    • Conduct code reviews and enhance engineering processes
    • Troubleshoot and resolve payment ecosystem issues
    • Manage release processes and ensure deployment best practices
  • System Performance & Deployment: 
    • Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability
    • Implement monitoring and alerting systems in collaboration with DevOps
    • Own software deployments and release management
    • Ensure thorough documentation and knowledge sharing

  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and mentorship abilities
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive technical excellence
  • Language Requirements:
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (written & spoken)
