About the role:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow.

Our client is a global leader in the online comparison market, connecting customers with valuable brands through cutting-edge technology. The company’s solutions leverage AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Athena, Aurora DB, TypeScript, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage and resolve technical support tickets by investigating, identifying root causes, and escalating to relevant teams when needed
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing expert-level support via email, chat, and phone
  • Handle production incidents, assess technical and business impact, and escalate to R&D teams if necessary
  • Conduct monitoring and health checks of production systems and generate periodic performance reports
  • Provide on-call support for critical incidents outside of business hours

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Tier 1-2 technical support roles, with a focus on B2B interactions
  • Experience with ETL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Knowledge of SQL (Snowflake, MySQL, Athena, MongoDB)
  • Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, CloudWatch)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable

  • Experience troubleshooting in distributed microservices environments
    Familiarity with Google AdWords/Analytics
