Ciklum is looking for a Middle Android Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Middle Android Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for a mobile app that serves as a digital coach designed to help users achieve optimal dental hygiene, as recommended by dental professionals. Through Bluetooth-enabled connectivity with smart toothbrushes, the app delivers personalized brushing coaching and analytics for users, using real-time data and artificial intelligence (AI) features.

Responsibilities

  • Develop parts of features or modules with acceptable quality with moderate supervision
  • Efficiently use development toolset, follow code standards and team-agreed rules    
  • Create tests to cover their own code and cover most cases for business logic
  • Investigate and fix application bugs

Requirements

Software Design:

  • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
  • Experience with modular application architectures
  • Good knowledge of design and architectural patterns
        
    Software Development:
  • Proficiency with Kotlin, Android framework, Jetpack
  • Practical experience with main persistence and network libraries (Room, Retrofit), DI frameworks (Hilt, Kotlin)
  • Comfortable writing multithreaded, asynchronous code with Kotlin coroutines / Rx

  • Strong grasp of Android Studio debugging tools

    Quality Assurance:

  • Practical experience in writing unit tests

Software Deployment:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD approaches

Desirable

  •  Have a good sense of UI, UX
