You will take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from design to operation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and well-documented solutions that meet our customers' needs.  Your dedication to producing flawless software and your ability to work effectively within a team will be essential in exceeding customer expectations and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and executing an appropriate testing strategy that is aligned on domain level as well as ensuring the availability of suitable test data
  • Help to realise efficient solutions for assuring quality where automation comes up against its limitations
  • Support your colleagues with deep knowledge to improve expertise in ensuring the quality of software products over the whole cycle of designing, building, testing and deploying applications
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure testable feature specifications and champion approaches like test-driven development or behaviour-driven development
  • Tackle the whole cycle of designing, building, testing and deploying software and contribute to increasing automation

Requirements

  • Programming Language: TypeScript (and JavaScript)
  • Test Automation Framework: Playwright
  • Assertion Libraries: Built-in Playwright assertions
  • Package Manager: npm
  • Version Control: Git
  • Linting: ESLint
  • Test Runner: Playwright Test Runner
  • Framework Design: PageObject pattern
  • API Testing Framework: Playwright API testing
  • Mocking & Stubbing: Playwright request interception
  • Code Security: SonarQube
  • Test Automation skills:
    • Proven practical knowledge of and expertise in quality assurance practices, tools and methods in an agile context and at scale
    • Practical experience with a range of cloud technologies and services (preferably AWS)
    • Experience working with Atlassian tool set (JIRA, Confluence and integrations)
    • Experience in end-to-end application testing (restful services, front applications, automation)
    • Strong understanding of Automation test strategy, Automation test limitations
    • Should have progressing skills in Testing Lifecycle, Testing Expertise, Testing Techniques, Test and Quality Management
    • A good team player with a great attitude and a passion for technology
    • Technical prowess in all quality assurance areas including automation, functional, contract, integration, performance and load testing 
    • Deep practical knowledge of software engineering practices like BDD and TDD
    • Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI
    • Proven ability to define and execute quality strategies at scale

Desirable

  • Experience with Performance Testing in Gatling Cloud
  • Compelling coaching and training skills for imparting professional software engineering skills
