Ciklum is looking for a Middle JavaScript Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. About the role:

As a Middle JavaScript Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for one of the Ciklum’s client who develops a system designed to enhance learning, streamline school operations, and connect students, teachers, and parents in a unified digital environment. It provides real-time academic insights, and seamless integration with key educational tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex web and mobile applications using the established approaches and best practices
  • Improve existing engineering and quality standards in a team and help other team members adopt them
  • Create CI/CD pipeline by template and/or assist DevOps team in creating more complex pipelines
  • Participate in the hiring process and technical interview activities
  • Coach/supervise middle/junior engineers by demand of the project
     

Requirements

  • Software Design:
    • Experience in designing solutions for complex features and creating documentation
    • Uses the established standards and algorithms for implementing the application
  • Software development:
    • Practical use of React and React Native

    • Good knowledge of UI development

      Strong grasp of mobile development tools

    • Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Experience in refactoring existing applications according to new requirements
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Hands-on experience with testing approaches and tools
    • Ability to spot the issues using the DevTools
  • Software Deployment:
    • Experience in following the CI/CD process and identifying potential errors

Desirable

  • Have a good sense of UI, UX
  • Full-stack development experience
