Ciklum is looking for a Senior Atlassian Specialist to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior Atlassian Specialist, become a part of a Ciklum’s global internal IT organization. Together we will work on providing cutting-edge business solutions to optimize our operations and enhance our competitive advantages.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the current Atlassian tools, validate requirements, investigate potential solutions, analyze impact, and implement solutions
  • Develop interfaces between external tooling and Jira/Confluence infrastructure
  • Manage complex Jira workflows, screen/permission/notification schemes
  • Configure and enhance Jira Service Desk
  • Provision, maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure
  • Assist with Atlassian services backend maintenance & automation
  • Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
  • Use tools such as Jira and Confluence to improve and speed delivery of products and services
  • Own and solve complex customer technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, transparency with different teams, maintain updates on the case
  • Provide error diagnosis (code review if needed), debugging, validation and root cause analysis
  • Contribute to integration, automation and other digital initiatives to improve customer/ engineer experience
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for support engineers
  • Be the primary contact for local escalation management for the expertise acquired within a product domain, and to provide resolution

Requirements

Technical:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with using Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence, Service Desk (experience with Crucible, Fisheye, SVN, GIT integration is a plus)
  • Strong experience of administering monolithic and microservice architecture based stack of Atlassian services: Jira Server, Confluence Server, Crucible Server, Fisheye Server
  • Ability to create complex Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes; using JQL data for reporting and custom search; configuring dashboards and reports
  • PostgreSQL: experience with server side, Jira & Confluence oriented configurations
  • Knowledge of JIRA/Jira Agile, Confluence, Service Desk configuration, administration, maintenance and enhancement
  • Planning and executing upgrades to Atlassian systems
  • Experience in setting up and supporting Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience customizing Jira workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reports
  • Experience with Jira & Confluence automation: add-ons based and script writing
  • Experience with backup management: configuration, automation, rotation
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and building test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of test and QA automation frameworks
  • Experience of working with Azure cloud and Active Directory

Product knowledge:

  • Configuring Jira Agile boards
  • Confluence: ability to configure spaces, use customization and personalization; experience with using macros and integration with Jira
  • Service Desk: configuration and administration (customers, SLAs, notifications etc.)
  • General awareness about available plugins on the market and their functionality

User support:

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology is an advantage
  • Experience in support/Service desk projects
  • Understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies (requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools, version control, testing and QA, deployment)
  • Understanding of networking and security concepts

Other skills:

  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; proven teamwork and communication skills
  • Driven to learn and stay current professionally
  • Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
