About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 
We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Migration Engineer to support the transition from Marathon (Mesos), Legacy EC2s and Legacy EKS clusters to our centralized OneEKS platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in container orchestration, migration strategy, and cloud-native infrastructure, with deep knowledge of AWS EKS and CI/CD Practices.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the migration of workloads from Marathon (Mesos), legacy EC2 instances, and EKS clusters to the centralized OneEKS platform
  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native infrastructure using AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
  • Develop migration strategies that minimize downtime and ensure application reliability throughout the migration process
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to align infrastructure changes with business needs

Requirements

  • Software Development experience (C# .NET, preferably)
  • Strong experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
  • Understanding of networking, service meshes (Istio), and ingress/egress patterns
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions etc.)
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or Go)
  • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance during and post-migration
  • Document processes, patterns, and best practices to enable future migrations
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Platform, and Application teams to streamline workflows

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Marathon (Mesos) architecture and workload types
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes workload migration
