About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (Technical Lead), become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 

We're seeking an exceptional DevOps Engineer who is ready to act as a Technical Lead. In this role, you'll lead our DevOps initiatives while mentoring and guiding team members to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP platforms
  • Lead architecture decisions and establish best practices for infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security
  • Guide the team in implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve system reliability and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment processes and application performance
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and provide hands-on training to team members
  • Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response when necessary

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles
  • Deep expertise in AWS / GCP cloud platforms and their core services
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable

  • Technical leadership / Mentorship
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Additional cloud platform certifications
